The 40 day challenge has ended – What now?
Continue to look for ways that you can enrich the lives of others.
Caring for other human beings should be intrinsic. When it is, we are happier and life is good. Stay conscious of those around you. When you see the opportunity to make them smile, do it. We can change the world one smile at a time.
It is a constant and real battle to overcome all the negative influences we are bombarded with in this world of mass media and quick, often insincere, social media snippets.
We are what we surround ourselves with. I am not saying never watch an episode of the Real Housewives of wherever, but know that we are at an unconscious level impacted by what we see and hear. Things repeated enough are often taken to be true.
There is nothing wrong with being financially secure, not at all. But when we’re working from a place of selfish greed where our success trumps everything else, and it doesn’t matter who we step on because winning at any cost is acceptable, some reassessing of our core values need to be made.
Being rude to each other and focusing on selfish and materialistic endeavors has become the norm for our society. Don’t allow yourself to be swayed by mass media and the repetition of inhumane, selfish, and offensive things. No matter how many times they are repeated, they remain inhumane, selfish, and offensive.
We choose our behaviors and the manner in which we live our lives. Stand firmly in love, caring, and kindness. We cannot allow ourselves to be influenced by what others choose to routinely put before us.
Be aware and mindful of what is let into your spirit. We must guard our consciousness.
At least be respectful of each other. “Rudeness is the weak person’s imitation of strength.”
